1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations on the market. It uses lidar to navigate, and create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set up schedules and modify the S1's behaviour.
When I tried the S1 It was quick to map the downstairs area, which has Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, as well as carpeting of medium-pile as well as a large area rug. It was capable of driving close to walls and even across raised thresholds without any problems. However, it had some difficulty traversing the stairs in one go. The S1 also did a great job cleaning hard floors by dragging its mop smoothly on the flat side against the floor and lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or carpet.
The S1's docking station automatically empties its trash bin and replenishes its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated water before each mopping session. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can be able to accommodate 12 cleaning sessions, but this will vary depending on the frequency you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires periodic maintenance to keep it working efficiently. In order to do this, you'll have to wash the water tank that is dirty regularly to avoid it from clogging. You will also need to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to avoid them getting clogged up with dust or dirt. But, overall the S1 is easy to maintain, particularly compared to other models which require more effort to maintain.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs all-in-one robot vacuum and mop is an efficient solution for your cleaning requirements. The robot vacuum has 8,700Pa suction power and comes with many unique features, including voice control and smart path scheduling that cleans furniture and avoids obstacles. The mopping feature is impressive, with mops that rotate that actually lift and scrub the floor instead of simply drag the pad across it. The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station as needed.
The robot comes with an easy-to-use interface that guides you through the process. It also includes a hand vacuum that can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are two water tanks that can be automatically emptied or filled. It also has a number of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a great vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction that can easily remove dust and debris that other robots have difficulty with. Its navigation capabilities are good, too, even though it is sometimes hung in the small area mats or rugs that I have in my house (which is something you can reduce by defining a virtual boundary within the application). The mopping capabilities are quite impressive, and comes with a pair of spinning mop pads that actually lift and scrub floors, as opposed to simply dragging the pad over it. The mops can also be cleaned with hot water and dried in the basestation whenever needed. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station when needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. But their latest flagship model has even more impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-off maintenance which makes it a strong contender for our best robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush ensure that an effective, customized cleaning is completed.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing large and fine particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It also cleaned the most filthy areas well, and avoiding tangled pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping capability of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that swings out in order to reach hard-to-reach areas, and mop pads that extend along baseboards.
Its navigation system is nimble, navigating tiny spaces and negotiating stairs without skipping a step. It can move from one room to another without having to change direction. This is useful for homes that have multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than the ones of other competitors, and leaves a huge space over obstacles. This can lead to missing spots.
The app features a simple and intuitive interface that will be easy to use for both new and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings, alter suction power and mopping settings and view 3D and 2D maps, and more. It can be controlled through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri and allows you to keep an eye on its progress from any location. You can also remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. However, you will require a stable Wi-Fi connection in order to operate it via the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
A robot vacuum does an excellent job of removing debris and dirt but it's not always able to reach every last bit of dust. This is why it's crucial to use your regular vacuum once every week, and especially to remove dust from corners, on shelves, and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot that was designed to accomplish exactly that. It is easy to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and it works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the company's pricier S-series models, including the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it's cheaper since it doesn't come with mopping capabilities and comes with an aluminum body.
The Q5 is one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping machines we've seen at this price even though it's not able to clean your floor. It has powerful 5500Pa suction and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to manually empty the bin every time. It also features a smart app that lets you select your floor type and schedule cleanings, and an automatic water tank refill and wash system that allows hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive with their 2700Pa power that can combat pet hair and dirt, on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is among the few robots we tested that didn't have any issues with high-pile carpets or area rugs, but it couldn't pick up cat litter or cable tangles that's not a surprise given that it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we've tested. It also uses a unique system to map your home this will allow it to enter corners and tight spaces that other vacuums are unable to reach. This device also stores dust in a bigger dustbin which means you need empty it less frequently. It also has washable filters, which can further cut costs. The robot is also able to detect carpets and boost the suction if needed. The app also allows you to mark off areas that you want it to avoid and is a great feature.
